Even if Carroll was fit to start I wouldn't start him, he's only going to get a run out if we're 3-0 up or 1-0 down

He's brought it on himself.

For the injuries we have, it’s a decent bench...

Zabaleta Diop Balbuena Cresswell
Snodgrass Rice Noble Anderson
Hernandez Antonio

Adrian
Masuaku
Ogbonna
Obiang
Diangana
Carroll
Pérez

The Wilshere thing is pissing me off now. I think 2 weeks ago Pellegrini said he's fit but he's not gonna risk him.

Is this a new injury or WHAT?

What he said only Chicharito along side Hernandez up front, will really confuse the opposition.

Who said satire was dead

If Wilshire ever got fit, he would struggle to get in the side!

Howe's no mug, he even had him on the bench at Bournemouth.

I did see a photo of a pretty sizable looking wound on the top of Perez's foot after the Palace game, so I'd be surprised if he started.

Re: WHU team Vs Fulham?
I can't see him playing Antonio up front but I would expect him to be on the bench as cover for Zabaleta or either of the wide men. I'm expecting Carroll to start this one alongside Chicharito and we could see Silva on the bench. Cresswell to take over at LB if he's fit but to be fair, Masuaku has been decent the last couple of games.

Fitness notwithstanding I think ten of the eleven choose themselves the only doubt being whether to pick Antonio or Perez.

Apparently Perez went off because he had a knock, not as a tactical move

could have been both but he did have a cut on his foot that bled through his sock and boot

Cresswell in for Arthur
Antonio up front instead of Perez

Carroll on around 60min mark for either Antonio or Pea depending on state of play

I think Saturday showed with both Perez and Pea in the side we are too lightweight up front. Pea is the better poacher.

Re: WHU team Vs Fulham?
I agree, it hangs on Perez's foot. IUf it's okay I'd start him and Hernandez and bring Carroll on later, at best he's got 45 mins in him after so little football but he made a massive difference when he came on

Carroll just shits up the other team, especially one with a wobbly and tiring defence and I have NO idea why! But he will pull poor defenders out of position and Hernandez will love having that space in the box.

I like Carrol as an impact sub.

Re: WHU team Vs Fulham?
Personally I think Carroll should start if he can manage it. Fulham defensively are a shit storm and carroll and Hernandez up top would cause them no end of trouble.
Diop hopefully will have Mitrovic in his pocket all game as he is a good threat.
Traditionally we have a good record at the cottage and hopefully that continues.
I think 4-4-2 is the only way to go now.. once Pellegrini hooked Hernandez off, Palace were the better team, carroll had no one to hold it up for or knock it down too
